Mt. Hebron Vikings (Ellicott City, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD), 85-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mt. Hebron upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Glenelg (Glenelg, MD) to play the Gladiators in a Howard County bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Gladiators come into the bout with a record of 5-11.

Next up, the Scorpions play the Hammond Golden Bears (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County bout, on Monday, February 5. Oakland Mills will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Golden Bears come into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 55-45 league win over Glenelg (Glenelg, MD).
