The Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperials basketball team (Napoleon, ND), was nudged 54-51 in Friday's league battle with the host South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND)

The Mustangs now possess a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thompson for a non-league battle on Monday, February 12.

The Imperials (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Griggs County Central/Midkota (Cooperstown, ND). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Griggs County Central/Midkota edged Larimore (Larimore, ND), 50-44, in a league battle.
