The Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) basketball crushed the visiting New Brighton Lions (New Brighton, PA), 80-22 in Friday's league test.
The Lancers (16-3) will now prepare for their test against Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA). The Warriors go into the WPIAL 3A 1 test with a 14-6 record.
The Lions now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they host Mohawk Area for a WPIAL 3A 1 test on Tuesday, February 6. New Brighton will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 67-36 league win over Riverside (Ellwood City, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 14-6.
