The Valders Vikings basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting New Holstein Huskies to 56 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freedom for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Valders will battle a Irish team coming off a 54-47 league win over Little Chute (Little Chute, WI). The Irish record now stands at 14-3.

The Huskies (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against Brillion (Brillion, WI). The Lions enter the Eastern Wisconsin contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, Brillion ran past Chilton (Chilton, WI), 65-33, in a league contest.
