Texas High School Basketball - Spring overwhelmed by Nimitz

The Spring Lions basketball team (Spring, TX), was routed 57-34 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX)

The Cougars now sport a 20-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aldine for a 6A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, February 6. Nimitz will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 80-43 league loss to Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-28.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Benjamin Davis Falcons (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 15-15 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 19-9 record after their 80-43 league win over Aldine (Houston, TX).
