North Carolina High School Basketball - Spring Creek ripped by North Johnston

The North Johnston Panthers basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Spring Creek Gators to 42 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beddingfield for a 2A Neuse contest on Tuesday, February 6. North Johnston will meet a Bruins team coming off a 63-56 league loss to Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 13-6.

The Gators (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC). The Warriors enter the 2A Neuse contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Eastern Wayne triumphed over Princeton (Princeton, NC), 70-47, in a league contest.
