The North Toole County Refiners basketball team (Sunburst, MT), was overwhelmed 62-18 in Friday's non-league battle with the host North Star Knights (Rudyard, MT)

The Knights now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Big Sandy for a C District 9 battle on Saturday, February 3. North Star will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 44-40 league win over Hays-Lodge Pole (Hays, MT). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-11.

The Refiners (0-13) will now prepare for their battle against Valier (Valier, MT). The Panthers come into the C District 10 battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Valier was overwhelmed by Cascade (Cascade, MT), 82-38, in a league battle.
