The Oglethorpe County Patriots basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines to 53 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jasper County for a A D1 Region 5 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Oglethorpe County will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 64-57 league win over Social Circle (Social Circle, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 15-7.
The Wolverines (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Social Circle (Social Circle, GA). The Redskins enter the A D1 Region 5 contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Social Circle was defeated by Jasper County (Monticello, GA), 64-57, in a league contest.
