Osceola Seminoles (Osceola, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Piggott Mohawks (Piggott, AR), 75-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Osceola upgrades its record to 16-12 on the season. The Seminoles host Rivercrest (Wilson, AR) to confront the Colts in a 3A Region 3 challenge on Monday, February 5. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 23-2. Rivercrest won 57-54 in their recent league challenge against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR)

Next up, the Mohawks confront the Gosnell Pirates (Gosnell, AR) in a 3A Region 3 challenge, on Monday, February 5. Piggott will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 63-60 league win over Manila (Manila, AR).
