Maryland High School Basketball - Paint Branch topples Springbrook

February 2, 2024: Burtonsville, MD 20866

In Friday's non-league outing, the Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD) basketball squad beat the visiting Springbrook Blue Devils (Silver Spring, MD), by a count of 52-44.

The Panthers (14-2) will now prepare for their outing against Blake (Silver Spring, MD). The Bengals go into the non-league outing with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, Blake defeated Damascus (Damascus, MD), 75-53, in a non-league outing.

The Blue Devils now hold a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sherwood for a Montgomery 4A/3A East outing on Monday, February 5. Springbrook will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 59-56 league win over Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 14-3.
