Texas High School Basketball - Tivy knocked off by Pieper

The Pieper Warriors basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Tivy Antlers to 51 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now have a 19-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smithson Valley for a 5A Region IV District 26 match on Tuesday, February 6. Pieper will meet a Rangers team coming off a 51-38 league loss to Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 8-17.
With the defeat, Tivy moves to 14-16 on the year. The Antlers host Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX) to meet the Patriots in a 5A Region IV District 26 match on Tuesday, February 6. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 32-1. Veterans Memorial won 44-40 in their recent league match against Wagner (San Antonio, TX)
