The Pocono Mountain West Panthers basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Pocono Mountain East Cardinals to 52 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stroudsburg for a Eastern Pennsylvania - Mountain contest on Monday, February 5. Pocono Mountain West will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 57-46 non-league loss to Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 8-6.

The Cardinals (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against East Stroudsburg North (Dingmans Ferry, PA). The Timberwolves come into the Eastern Pennsylvania - Mountain contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, East Stroudsburg North triumphed over East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA), 73-64, in a league contest.
