Maryland High School Basketball - Poolesville knocked off by Watkins Mill

February 2, 2024: Poolesville, MD 20837

The Watkins Mill Wolverines basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Poolesville Falcons to 36 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockville for a Montgomery 3A/2A North contest on Monday, February 5. Watkins Mill will meet a Rams team coming off a 61-33 league loss to Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Rams record now stands at 2-12.

The Falcons (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Damascus (Damascus, MD). The Hornets enter the Montgomery 3A/2A North contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Damascus was outscored by Blake (Silver Spring, MD), 75-53, in a non-league contest.
