The Santa Fe Trail Chargers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Prairie View Buffalos to 32 in the Chargers non-league victory on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wellsville for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Santa Fe Trail will battle a Eagles team coming off a 68-30 non-league win over Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 10-4.

The Buffalos (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Iola (Iola, KS). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Iola was routed by Chanute (Chanute, KS), 64-58, in a non-league contest.
