Sabetha Bluejays (Sabetha, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Royal Valley Panthers (Hoyt, KS), 68-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sabetha upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Bluejays host Nemaha Central (Seneca, KS) to clash with the Thunder in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Nemaha Central won 54-32 in their recent non-league bout against Holton (Holton, KS)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Perry-Lecompton Kaws (Perry, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Royal Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Kaws go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 52-50 non-league win over Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS).
