West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA), 59-51 in a league challenge.

With the victory, West Lyon improves its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA) to play the Generals in a Siouxland challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 2-17.
