The Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY) basketball knocked off the host Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY), 72-56 in Friday's non-league test.
The Briar Jumpers (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 17-4 record. In their last test, Wayne County notched a victory over Bardstown (Bardstown, KY), 65-45, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton County for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Southwestern will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 73-63 non-league win over Glasgow (Glasgow, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-10.
