The Warren Central Dragons basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting South Warren Spartans to 53 in the Dragons league triumph on Friday.

The Dragons now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Owensboro Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Warren Central will battle a Aces team coming off a 58-48 league loss to Daviess County (Owensboro, KY). The Aces record now stands at 14-5.

The Spartans (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Russellville (Russellville, KY). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-20 record. In their last contest, Russellville was routed by Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY), 68-55, in a league contest.
