Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Summerfield Bulldogs (Petersburg, MI) and the host Whiteford Bobcats (Ottawa Lake, MI), saw Summerfield's basketball squad knock off Whiteford by a count of 60-49.

With the victory, Summerfield upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hudson (Hudson, MI) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-14. Hudson lost 41-28 in their recent league challenge against Clinton (Clinton, MI)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Morenci Bulldogs (Morenci, MI) in a Tri-County challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Whiteford will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record.
