Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL), 45-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Wheaton North upgrades its record to 14-10 on the season. The Falcons travel to Hinsdale South (Darien, IL) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 12-14. Hinsdale South won 83-74 in their recent league bout against Proviso East (Maywood, IL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, February 4. Wheaton-Warrenville South will attempt to upgrade on its 13-13 season record. The Caravan go into the bout with a 24-3 record after their 58-55 non-league win over St. Francis (Wheaton, IL).
