With the win, Sam Houston upgrades its record to 18-11 on the season. The Texans host Haltom (Haltom City, TX) to play the Buffalos in a bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Buffalos go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Haltom lost 68-48 in their recent league bout against Sam Houston (Arlington, TX)

Next up, the Warriors play the Grand Prairie Gophers (Grand Prairie, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Martin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
