The Nevada Union Miners basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Placer Hillmen to 46 in the Miners league victory on Friday.
The Miners now sport a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakmont for a contest on Wednesday, February 7. Nevada Union will battle a Vikings team coming off a 55-43 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-19.
The Hillmen (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against West Park (Roseville, CA). The Panthers come into the contest with a 24-0 record. In their last contest, West Park prevailed over Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA), 73-45, in a league contest.
