The West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) basketball crushed the host Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), 73-45 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (24-0) will now prepare for their test against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen go into the test with a 9-15 record. In their last test, Placer was trounced by Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 59-46, in a league test.

The Bruins now own a 15-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln for a test on Wednesday, February 7. Ponderosa will encounter a Fighting Zebras squad coming off a 55-43 league win over Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 4-11.
