The Akiak Thunderbolts basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Tuluksak Wolverines to 20 in the Thunderbolts league victory on Friday.
The Thunderbolts now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tuluksak for a 1A Greater Kuskokwim contest on Friday, February 9. Akiak will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 43-35 league loss to Akiachak (Akiachak, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-10.
The Wolverines (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Akiachak (Akiachak, AK). The Huskies come into the 1A Greater Kuskokwim contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Akiachak triumphed over Tuluksak (Tuluksak, AK), 48-45, in a league contest.
