The Bearcats now possess a 26-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Granbury for a 5A Region I District 5 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Aledo will battle a Pirates team coming off a 50-25 league win over Saginaw (Saginaw, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 20-11.
The Hornets (17-15) will now prepare for their battle against Brewer (Fort Worth, TX). The Bears come into the 5A Region I District 5 battle with a 27-4 record. In their last battle, Brewer beat Aledo (Aledo, TX), 75-46, in a league battle.
