The Anderson Valley Panthers (Boonville, CA) basketball nipped the host Laytonville Warriors (Laytonville, CA), 39-37 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Round Valley (Covelo, CA). The Mustangs go into the North Central III test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Round Valley was tipped by Point Arena (Point Arena, CA), 56-46, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Mendocino for a North Central III test on Tuesday, February 6.
