Andover Central Jaguars (Andover, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Eisenhower Tigers (Goddard, KS), 51-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Andover Central upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Salina Central (Salina, KS) to play the Mustangs in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 6-8. Salina Central lost 44-30 in their recent non-league bout against Derby (Derby, KS)
Next up, the Tigers play the Hutchinson Salthawks (Hutchinson, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Eisenhower will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Salthawks come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 45-39 non-league win over South (Salina, KS).
