South Grand Prairie Warriors (Grand Prairie, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Arlington Colts (Arlington, TX), 85-8 in a league bout.

With the victory, South Grand Prairie upgrades its record to 25-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Bowie (Arlington, TX) to play the Volunteers in a 6A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Volunteers come into the bout with a record of 18-14. Bowie won 67-45 in their recent league bout against Haltom (Haltom City, TX)

Next up, the Colts play the Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Arlington will attempt to upgrade on its 6-22 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 8-13 record after their 48-22 league win over Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX).
