The Simms Tigers (Simms, MT) basketball knocked off the visiting Augusta Elks (Augusta, MT), 44-31 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Shelby (Shelby, MT). The Coyotes go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Shelby notched a victory over Rocky Boy (Box Elder, MT), 73-63, in a non-league test.
The Elks now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heart Butte for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Augusta will meet a Warriors team coming off a 51-35 league loss to Cascade (Cascade, MT). The Warriors record now stands at 2-6.
