West Chicago Wildcats (West Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), 59-44 in a league bout.

With the win, West Chicago upgrades its record to 21-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Fenton (Bensenville, IL) to play the Bison in a Upstate Eight bout on Monday, February 5. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 9-18. Fenton lost 56-53 in their recent league bout against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL)

Next up, the Tomcats play the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight bout, on Monday, February 5. Aurora East will attempt to upgrade on its 2-24 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 7-21 record after their 63-41 league loss to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL).
