The Bristol County Agricultural Chieftains basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Avon Panthers to 29 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Friday.

The Chieftains now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Old Colony RVT for a Mayflower 2 contest on Friday, February 9.

The Panthers (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Wareham (Wareham, MA). The Vikings enter the Mayflower 3 contest with a 3-1 record.
