Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY), 46-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Bath County upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Mason County (Maysville, KY) to clash with the Royals in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Mason County lost 71-38 in their recent non-league bout against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY) in a District 61 game, on Monday, February 5. Menifee County will attempt to move on its 9-14 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 13-7 record after their 61-21 non-league loss to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY).
