Georgia High School Basketball - Beach knocked off by Johnson

The Johnson Atomsmashers basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Beach Bulldogs to 42 in the Atomsmashers league triumph on Friday.

The Atomsmashers now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Long County for a AAA Region 3 contest on Saturday, February 3. Johnson will battle a Blue Tide team coming off a 44-28 league loss to Calvary Day (Savannah, GA). The Blue Tide record now stands at 9-12.

The Bulldogs (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Groves (Garden City, GA). The Rebels enter the AAA Region 3 contest with a 1-21 record. In their last contest, Groves was defeated by St. Vincent's (Savannah, GA), 68-31, in a league contest.
