The McDaniel Mountain Lions basketball team (Portland, OR), was overwhelmed 93-8 in Friday's league battle with the host Benson Tech Techmen (Portland, OR)

The Techmen now possess a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson for a 6A Portland battle on Tuesday, February 6. Benson Tech will battle a Democrats team coming off a 67-25 league win over Grant (Portland, OR). The Democrats record now stands at 15-1.

The Mountain Lions (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin (Portland, OR). The Quakers come into the 6A Portland battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, Franklin trounced Lincoln (Portland, OR), 38-26, in a league battle.
