In Friday's league match, the visiting Berrien Rebels basketball team scored a tight 62-60 triumph over the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane.
In their next game, the Rebels meet the Sumter County Panthers (Americus, GA) in a AA Region 1 match, on Saturday, February 3. Berrien will attempt to move on its 8-13 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 14-7 record after their 50-37 non-league win over Macon County (Montezuma, GA).
