Booneville Bearcats (Booneville, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Two Rivers Gators (Ola, AR), 49-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Booneville upgrades its record to 6-12 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Cossatot River (Cove, AR) to play the Eagles in a 3A Region 4 bout on Friday, February 9. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 16-7.

Next up, the Gators play the Cossatot River Eagles (Cove, AR) in a 3A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Two Rivers will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 16-7 record after their 45-30 league win over Danville (Danville, AR).
