Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY), 54-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Boyle County upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Rebels host Danville (Danville, KY) to clash with the Admirals in a District 45 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Admirals go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Danville lost 69-44 in their recent league bout against Danville Christian Academy (Danville, KY)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Pineville Mountain Lions (Pineville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Lincoln County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Mountain Lions go into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 67-35 non-league loss to North Laurel (London, KY).
