Texas High School Basketball - Farwell routs Boys Ranch

February 2, 2024: Boys Ranch, TX 79010

In Friday's league outing, the Farwell Steers (Farwell, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Boys Ranch Roughriders (Boys Ranch, TX), by a count of 80-21.

The Steers (28-3) will now prepare for their outing against Vega (Vega, TX). The Longhorns go into the 2A Region I District 3 outing with a 14-18 record. In their last outing, Vega smashed Bovina (Bovina, TX), 40-34, in a league outing.

The Roughriders now hold a 10-14 record. They play next when they travel to Highland Park for a 2A Region I District 3 outing on Tuesday, February 6. Boys Ranch will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 70-20 league loss to Panhandle (Panhandle, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 2-24.
