Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI) and the visiting Cabrini Monarchs (Allen Park, MI), saw Lutheran North's basketball squad knock off Cabrini by a tally of 54-34.

With the victory, Lutheran North improves its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI) to play the Knights in a Catholic C-D D challenge on Monday, February 5. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-10.

Next up, the Monarchs play the Summerfield Bulldogs (Petersburg, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Cabrini will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 43-36 league win over Whiteford (Ottawa Lake, MI).
