With the victory, California Academy of Math & Science upgrades its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Morningside (Inglewood, CA) to play the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Monarchs come into the bout with a record of 10-7. Morningside won 62-8 in their recent league bout against Inglewood (Inglewood, CA)

Next up, the The Aviators play the Compton Early College Rising Phoenix (Compton, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Hawthorne Math & Science Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Rising Phoenix come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Animo Leadership (Inglewood, CA).
