Cross Lanes Christian Warriors (Charleston, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Calvary Baptist Academy Patriots (Hurricane, WV), 42-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Cross Lanes Christian upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Warriors travel to Buffalo (Buffalo, WV) to clash with the Bison in a Freelance bout on Monday, February 5. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Buffalo lost 56-53 in their recent league bout against Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Wood County Christian Wildcat (Williamstown, WV) in a West Virginia Christian - AA bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Calvary Baptist Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record.
