CAM Cougars (Anita, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Exira-EHK Spartans (Elk Horn, IA), 67-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, CAM upgrades its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA) to meet the Rockets in a Rolling Valley match on Monday, February 5. The Rockets enter the match with a record of 4-19. Ar-We-Va won 48-44 in their recent league match against Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA)

With the defeat, Exira-EHK moves to 13-6 on the year. The Spartans travel to Lenox (Lenox, IA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Lenox won 55-42 in their recent non-league match against Wayne (Corydon, IA)
