Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Caney Valley Trojans (Ramona, OK) and the host Dewey Bulldoggers (Dewey, OK), saw Caney Valley's basketball squad overcome Dewey by a tally of 42-27.

With the victory, Caney Valley improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Barnsdall (Barnsdall, OK) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 11-8.

Next up, the Bulldoggers play the Chelsea Dragons (Chelsea, OK) in a Northeast Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Dewey will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 48-32 non-league win over Fairland (Fairland, OK).
