Virginia High School Basketball - Patrick County overwhelmed by Carroll County

The Carroll County Cavaliers basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Patrick County Cougars to 31 in the Cavaliers league victory on Friday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fleming for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Carroll County will battle a Colonels team coming off a 59-31 league win over Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 15-4.
The Cougars (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 11-9 record.
