C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC), 43-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, C.B. Aycock upgrades its record to 9-11 on the year. The Golden Falcons travel to Fike (Wilson, NC) to face the Demons in a 3A Quad County game on Tuesday, February 6. The Demons enter the game with a record of 14-3. Fike won 55-41 in their recent league game against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC)

With the defeat, South Johnston moves to 9-10 on the year. The Trojans travel to Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC) to face the Saints in a 3A Quad County game on Tuesday, February 6. The Saints enter the game with a record of 7-13. Southern Wayne lost 55-30 in their recent league game against Hunt (Wilson, NC)
