In Friday's league outing, the Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA), by a margin of 59-35.

The Red Raiders (11-13) will now prepare for their outing against Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA). The Bears go into the AAAA Region 8 outing with a 20-4 record. In their last outing, Cherokee Bluff smashed Chestatee (Gainesville, GA), 46-43, in a league outing.

The Jaguars now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they host Warner Robins for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 3. Cedar Shoals will clash with a Demons squad coming off a 90-18 league win over Ola (McDonough, GA). The Demons record now stands at 17-5.
