Georgia High School Basketball - Central can't hold off Cedartown

The Cedartown Bulldogs basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Central Lions to 43 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 8-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeast Whitfield County for a AAAA Region 7 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Cedartown will battle a Raiders team coming off a 56-14 league loss to Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-17.
The Lions (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA). The Bruins come into the AAAA Region 7 contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Northwest Whitfield was nudged by Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA), 48-40, in a league contest.
