The Chaparral Bobcats (Killeen, TX) basketball crushed the host Waco Lions (Waco, TX), 56-24 in Friday's league test.
The Bobcats (24-6) will now prepare for their test against Lake Belton (Temple, TX). The Broncos go into the 5A Region III District 22 test with a 22-11 record. In their last test, Lake Belton walloped Belton (Belton, TX), 74-36, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 14-13 record. They play next when they travel to Shoemaker for a 5A Region III District 22 test on Tuesday, February 6. Waco will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 68-18 league win over University (Waco, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 14-17.
