The Jackson County Generals basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Clay County Tigers to 28 in the Generals league triumph on Friday.

The Generals now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Laurel for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Jackson County will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 65-49 league win over Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 15-9.

The Tigers (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Whitley County was routed by South Laurel (London, KY), 65-49, in a league contest.
