Voorheesville Blackbirds (Voorheesville, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cohoes Tigers (Cohoes, NY), 55-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Voorheesville upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Blackbirds travel to La Salle Institute (Troy, NY) to play the Cadets in a Section 2 Colonial bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Cadets go into the bout with a record of 5-12. La Salle Institute won 48-35 in their recent league bout against Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY)

Next up, the Tigers play the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Indians (Ravena, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial bout, on Friday, February 9. Cohoes will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record.
